– BURLINGTON, Iowa (June 3, 2013) – It has been four years since the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series has visited 34 Raceway and something stands out among the series stars: the facility.
“It’s a really nice facility,” championship points leader Daryn Pittman said. “It’s a cool-shaped track.”
The top-notch facility hosts its first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event since 2009 and its third ever on Friday, June 7.
“It’s a cool track,” said Joey Saldana, who claimed the 2009 feature. “It’s a neat facility. It’s the type of place you want the Outlaws to go. It puts on a good race.”
Since the inaugural event in 2008, which Tony Bruce Jr. won to pick up his only World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series victory, only Jason Sides has recorded a top-five finish in each feature. Donny Schatz, Jason Meyers and Jac Haudenschild have notched top 10s in both main events as well.

Check out the O’Reilly Auto Parts $5 off general admission ticket special. When fans purchase a general admission ticket at a participating O’Reilly Auto Parts store they receive $5 off (adult tickets are $35 or $30 at O’Reilly Auto Parts and child tickets are $15 or $10 at O’Reilly Auto Parts). Children 5 and younger get into general admission for free.
