Bedford, PA — (June 21, 2013) —   Robbie Stillwaggon of Burlington, NJ scored his third win in five starts on the  2013  Rislone URC Sprint Series on  Friday night at the  Bedford Speedway.  Stillwaggon started eleventh and took the lead on lap eighteen of the twenty-five lap feature that went non-stop.    Stillwaggon earned $2,000 for the win and ran an impressive race, mastering the field from start to finish on the well prepared Bedford Speedway.    Stillwaggon enjoyed an animated victory lane that brought the Bedford crowd to their feet.

A field of twenty-one URC sprint cars took part in the program with heat race victories going to Chad Trout,  Davie  Franek and Robbie Stillwaggon.

In the twenty-five lap feature event,  Chad Trout was the early race leader, holding off the challenges of Davie Franek.   Not far off the pace was JJ Grasso racing in third followed by Scott Lutz and Dave Ely.   Trout established a comfortable lead by lap seven and by that time, Robbie Stillwaggon was already up to fifth.

The caution free race continued and at the halfway point, Trout was still the race leader with Franek in second and Stillwaggon now in third as JJ Grasso and Dave Ely rounded out the top five.   Slower traffic was now a factor and on lap fourteen, Stillwaggon passed Franek for second.   Just one lap later, Stillwaggon was challenging Trout for the lead.

As the leaders passed on lap seventeen, Stillwaggon took the top spot but Trout wrestled the lead back going down the backstretch.   On lap eighteen, Stillwaggon took the lead and at that point, the tip five were racing under a blanket.

For the final five laps, Stillwaggon mastered the big one-half mile Bedford Speedway to take the win.   Chad Trout finished second followed by Davie Franek, JJ Grasso and Dave Ely.  Making up the top ten were Art Liedl, Dan Mazy, Scott Lutz, Jimmy Stitzel and Jonathan Swanson.
