Port Royal –Before Saturday’s Pennsylvania Speedweek for sprint cars program at Port Royal Speedway, fans will get the chance to meet four of the oval’s talented sprint car drivers behind the grandstand from 5:30 until 6:15 pm.

On hand to meet and greet the fans and sign autographs will be 2013 winners Mike Wagner, Blane Heimbach, Chad Layton and Dylan Cisney.

Cisney is a recent college graduate that lives two blocks from the speedway who recently picked up his first ever sprint car win anywhere at his hometown track of Port Royal.

Veteran Wagner is a two-time Port Royal track champion that owns 10 career victories at the oval behind the wheel of his familiar black No. 55 racer.  His sons Logan and Michael II. compete regularly at the track in the 305 sprint division.

Heimbach moved up from the 358-sprint ranks and first began running Port Royal last season on a part time basis before taking the full plunge into the weekly ranks this season.

The Selinsgrove pilot is the current point leader with two wins on the season at the track.

Also a 358-sprint move up, Layton is the defending track champion and like Heimbach he too owns a pair of wins at the track this year.

On his career, Layton owns another track title and 10 career oval wins as well.

The super late models are also on the Saturday racing program along with an enduro dash to close the night.

The 410 sprints will compete in a 30-lap speedweek feature paying $5,000 to win.

Time trials for the event are slated for 7 pm.

Adult general admission is $22 with students ages 12 – 18 admitted for just $5.

Gates open at 5 pm.
