Sarver, PA — (July 10, 2013) — The top weekly racing program in the country returns this Friday, July 12 as Fab Four Racing makes it’s triumphant return after a two-week summer vacation!  Make no mistake, the 7th Annual Firecracker 100 weekend was spectacular and the fine folks from the BOSS Wingless Sprints and the RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series put on a great show last Friday night, but Fab Four Racing is the backbone of Lernerville Speedway!

Some of the stars of the Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprints took the wings off last week and ran against the best the BOSS had to offer.  Jack Sodeman Jr. took the checkered flag ahead of Budweiser Points leader Brandon Spithaler.  Sodeman also won the most recent Peoples TWP Sprint feature on Friday, June 21 during the Mid-Season Championships.  Eric Williams, Brandon Matus and Carl Bowser are all still in the title hunt as well.

John Garvin Jr., Jared Miley, Alex Ferree and Michael Norris will resume their battle for the 2013 Budweiser Track Championship in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models after a weekend off following the three-day Firecracker 100.  All four drivers have feature wins to their credit in 2013; Ferree being the most recent winner on June 21.  Garvin leads Miley by 15 points entering this weekend’s event.

Mat Williamson leads the way in the Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Modifieds, but Defending Track Champion Brian Swartzlander and Jeremiah Shingledecker are heating up as the season progresses and have captured the two most recent features.  Williamson leads by a full night’s worth of points, (40), but Swartzlander is one point ahead of Shingledecker, while Dave Murdick is just six points behind Swartzlander and is due for his first visit to Sheetz Victory Lane.

The Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman were in action last Friday along with the BOSS Wingless Sprints and RUSH Late Models.  A first-lap pile-up on the front stretch erased the early season dominance of Corey McPherson and Friday’s feature winner AJ Flick now leads the Budweiser Points by one over McPherson.  Mike Miller and Joe Kelley are 31 and 34 points back respectively.

Friday is Freeport Area Little League and North/South Buffalo Baseball Youth Sports Night at Lernerville Speedway.  All youth sports participants and coaches, (regardless of sport or location) will be admitted free in “uniform”; or at least wearing their game shirt.

The “Greatest Show on Dirt” will return to the Action Track next Tuesday, July 16 to entertain the “Finest Race Fans in the World” as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series invades Lernerville Speedway for the 22nd installment of the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup presented by GottaRace.com.  Adult Advance/Reserved tickets are $39 for adults and $31 for those 17 & under and include a FREE fan pit pass upgrade if purchased by Monday, July 15 at 11:59 PM.

Tickets can be purchased 24/7 on our website www.Lernerville.com by clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon or by calling the Speedway office during normal business hours at (724) 353-1511.  While not included in the FREE fan pit pass upgrade promotion, children 10 & under will be admitted FREE into General Admission; as is always the case at Lernerville Speedway for any and all shows on our schedule!
