Top-10 finishes in all 11 races this year have propelled Danny Faria Jr. to the lead in the USAC West Coast Sprint Car series. Remarkably, though, he is still seeking his first 2013 victory.

Saturday night’s “Jim Evett Memorial” at Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. will offer Faria his next opportunity for victory. In three appearances there this year he has a second, third and fourth.

Ryan Bernal is just four points in arrears and has a first and a second in two Kings starts. In 10 total starts this year he has nine “podium” finishes, which include five wins!
