Returning to his native Pennsylvania following a disappointing Knoxville Nationals, Lance Dewease scored third and fourth place finishes during Williams Grove Speedway’s Twin 20’s night, and then scored a fourth place finish at the Port Royal Speedway.

“It was nice to get back and record some good finishes,” Dewease said. “It was a little unfortunate that we couldn’t get a win after starting on the front row at the Grove, but the podium’s are still nice.”

Sharing the front row with Fred Rahmer during the first feature on Friday night, Rahmer got the jump and Dewease found himself in the third spot, after Don Kreitz, Jr had an unbelievable start from sixth.

Running in the third spot, Dewease slipped back to the fourth spot, as Pat Cannon began making his move to the front of the field.

As the race got into it’s groove, Dewease was able to work his way past Rahmer, putting his Lelands.com/Conduit Connections/Pasquirello’s Auto Shop machine back in the third spot, as he chased after Kreitz.

Dewease had nothing for Kreitz, as he took the third place finish, and looked toward the second feature.

Running in the fourth spot in the second feature, Dewease chased after Greg Hodnett, and Logan Shuchart, as Brian Leppo had worked out to an early lead.

While chasing after the second and third running duo, they nearly took eachother out in front of Dewease, but somehow they avoided it, and continued on, and Dewease remained in the fourth spot.

As the race came to a close, Dewease looked at getting on the podium again, but came up just short as he scored a fourth place finish.

Saturday night at the Port Royal Speedway, Dewease closed out a strong weekend as he scored a fourth place finish.
