Tulsa, OK — (August 27, 2013) — The Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region heads for a Texas sized double header this weekend with the Abilene Speedway set for Saturday, August 31 and Lubbock Speedway on Sunday, September 1.

The start of the final leg of the 2013 season, the final six dates find the Lone Star Region of the ASCS Nation in Abilene, Lubbock, Kennedale, Ft. Worth, and Mesquite with the final three stops paired with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real.

Matt Covington holds the points lead by 108 headed into the Labor Day Weekend double header over Patrick Stasa. Kolt Walker, Blake Hahn, and John James make up the top five in regional standings.

The quarter-mile Abilene Speedway will see competition getting underway at 8:00 P.M with gates opening at 5:00 P.M. For more information on the Saturday date, log onto http://www.abilenespeedway.com.
