Atlanta, GA – (August 30, 2013) — Friday during a news conference at Atlanta Motor Speedway Kyle Larson was official named driver of the Kyle Larson driver for the Earnahdt / Ganassi Target NASCAR Sprint Car Series #42 car for the 2014 season. Larson will also make select starts in team Turner Motorsports recently acquired from James Finch later this year. I 2012 Larson won the NASCAR K&N East Series championship as a rookie and has been a standout in sprint car, midget, an silver crown racing.
Larson estimated that his schedule next year will reduce his sprint car starts from around 50 to 10 or so for the 2014 season. Larson is also expected to make some starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series later this year in the team formerly owned by James Finch and now acquired by Larson’s Nationwide Series employer Turner Motorsports.
