Knoxville, IA —  (September 13, 2013) — Alan DeHaai and Joe Kosiski at the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska, have donated over $1,000 to the non-profit National Sprint Car Museum through their two-day advance ticket promotion for next weekend’s Midwest Fall Brawl II sprint car races.  Five dollars from each of the advance two-day $25 tickets sold was donated to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation.

This year’s Midwest Fall-Brawl II will be Friday-Saturday, September 20-21, at the I-80 Speedway and will feature the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) sprint car teams racing for $2,500 to win each night.  In addition, there is a $20,000 bonus, the “Double-Down, Back-to-Back Challenge,” for any sprint car driver that can win the feature on both Friday and Saturday nights.

The brand-new 410-cubic-inch Rider-powered Maxim Chassis raffle/sprint car will also be making its first appearance at the Midwest Fall-Brawl II next weekend.  The sprint car raffle car program offers race teams and fans the opportunity to win a race-ready, state-of-the-art sprint car.  The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on December 19, 2014, with raffle proceeds benefiting the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa.

Said museum executive director Bob Baker today, “We can’t thank Alan DeHaai and Joe Kosiski enough for their support of our non-profit museum foundation.  Their efforts this fall harken back to the days when we partnered with track promoters across the country with our ‘National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Night at the Races’ promotional program.  All of these efforts help us keep our doors open seven days a week, year-round, for the purpose of promoting the future by preserving the past history of the sport of sprint car racing.”
