Unfortunately in the racing world, things don’t work out, and changes are necessary. Lance Dewease and the Heffner Racing team have decided to part ways at the end of the season, and Dewease is now looking at any and all options for a new ride for the 2014 season.
“I have to thank Mike Heffner and everyone at his team for the opportunity they gave me this season,” Dewease said. “The results that we have put up this year have been disappointing to the both of us, and we have decided to go our separate ways at the end of the year. Hopefully we can string together some good finishes to close out our relationship.”
Though the team has struggled to be consistent, Dewease managed to score his second All Stars Eastern Region Championship on top of three feature event wins.
