The first two starts of the feature would see cars get together in turn 1 resulting in 3 cars heading to the pitss. On the third start Mark Irwin would lead the field from the pole postion and Kevin Hawk running second
. With a hand full of laps complete Mark would pull into the infield with mechanical trouble handing the lead to second place running Kevin Hawk. Joe Bares tried to mount a challenge along with Chris Pobanz running third. Kevin would lead the rest of the way and pick up his first feature win. Bares held second Pobanz was third, Mike Galadja finished 4th and Gavin Hunyady would round out the top 5.
