Completing one of the most successful seasons in the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series history, the twenty-fourth season will come to a close on Saturday night, October 19 at the Grandview Speedway.  The season finale will be the traditional House of Thunder Halloween Party & the Grandview Thunder 5-25’s.   The fan favorite program of features only will include the 358 Modifieds, URC Sprints, ARDC Midgets,  Legend Cars and the Sportsman, each competing in a 25 lap feature.   Also on the program will be the Monster Smash Demolition Derby.   Gates will open at 4 PM with the first of five feature events will take the green flag at 6 PM.

In addition to the five features and the Monster Smash Demolition Derby,  the Blast from the Past and Garden State Vintage Cars will have an exhibition race along with an eight lap Vince’s Towing Owners Race.

The 358 Modifieds will race for $3,000 to win and URC will settle their point championship battle and crown their 2013 champion at this event.   For the ARDC Midgets, this event will also be a point race towards their 2013 championship run.

For the 358 Modifieds, they will do timed warm-ups to determine the starting line-up in the 25 lap feature.   The top ten fastest drivers from the timed warm-up will then come to the homestretch stage for  the Trick or Treat Revenge Redraw.  The driver with the fastest time gets to draw from pills one through ten.   Whatever number he draws, it must give that number to one of the other nine drivers.  Each driver follows the same process until all ten numbers are awarded.   There is a blend of strategy, a touch of humor and always some revenge in how the drivers hand out the draw numbers to determine the top ten starting spots.

Gates will open at 4 PM with the first of five 25 lap features taking the green flag at 6 PM.   The Legend’s will be the first feature of the night followed by ARDC Midgets, Sportsman, 358 Modifieds with the URC Sprints being the night-cap feature event.  The Monster Smash Demolition will close out the full night of racing.

This event is an invite only so expect to see the top drivers from each division with more the one-hundred and fifteen cars expected to fill the pit area.  For the URC Sprints, this event will be a point race with the season long championship title being decided at Grandview Speedway.

General admission for this event is $25 for adults,  children 6-11 $5 and children five and under will be admitted for free.  The pit fee will be $30 with any license and $35 without a license.
