Atlanta, GA – October 31, 2013 – $10.000 is up for grabs when the United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters invades the historic Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday and Sunday, November 2nd and 3rd for the 5th annual “Flip Flop 50” sprint car spectacular when K&N Filters presents the USCS Fall Nationals 2013. The two-day racing event serves as the 2013 season finale for the 17th anniversary of the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour. The unique fan favorite “Flip Flop 50” format features twin 25-lap main events with the first starting straight-up and the second starting fully inverted from the finish of the first. There is a $5,000 bonus to the winner of the first main event starting in last place in the second main and winning the second one as well.

The USCS presented by K&N Filters winged sprint car racing format on Saturday night at 6:00pm features a racing program that includes the Hoosier Tire Speed Dash for the top six cars from the previous main event followed by the sprint car qualifying heat races. The top eight qualified drivers then compete for the top starting spots in the K&N Filters Pole Scramble event that will determine the line-up for the front four rows of Sunday’s USCS “Flip Flop 50” (twin 25-lap main events. The first main event starts straight-up and the second one fully inverted).

On Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm the USCS winged sprint cars will contest a series of B-Main/Last Chance races that determine the final line-ups for the first of two 25-lap main events. The first main event will start the field straight-up from their final qualifying order and pays $2500 to win. The second 25-lap main event will start with the field fully inverted from the finish of the first main event. The winner of the first race will start in 22nd position. That race also pays $2500 to win with a bonus of $5000 (FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) to any driver who can win both races after starting last in the second event.

Joining the winged sprint cars for the United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) $60,000+ season finale will be the popular 600+horsepower K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds. The schedule also includes the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series for winged 600 mini sprints.  Additionally the Limited/Crate Late Models and Mid-South Street Stock Challenge divisions along with each of the USCS divisions will contest two nights of wide-open racing to complete the series’ 2013 visits to the historic speedway during their 64th anniversary season.
