Running double duty over the weekend at the Stockton Dirt Track, Tim Kaeding scored his 16th win of the season by way of his 360 win before charging from ninth to fifth in the King of the West feature event.

“It was a lot of fun running both races,” Kaeding said. “I have to thank Dennis and Teresa Roth and all of the guys for letting me do this, and send a huge congrats to Kyle Hirst and the California team for winning the championship.”

With 39 360’s on hand for an ‘open’ show, TK timed his Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle entry in ninth fastest in time trials, putting him on the front row of his heat race.

Getting the initial jump, TK went on to win the heat race by a sizeable margin, and punched his ticket into the Dash, where he started in the sixth spot, and finished third, putting him in the second row of the feature event.

The feature event saw Kaeding work into the second spot after battling with Shane Golobic for the first two laps, before he closed in on early leader, Rico Abreu.

Navigating traffic very early in the race, Kaeding got past Abreu on the ninth lap, and went on to lap cars at will.

With the first 26 laps going caution free, after the start had two cautions, TK would lap up to sixth place on his way to scoring his 16th win of the season.

In the KWS event, Kaeding timed in sixth fastest, and started in the second row of his heat race, and scored a third place finish, putting him in the feature event.

Failing to make the Dash, Kaeding would line up in the fifth row, alongside his father, Brent.

On the extremely fast Stockton Dirt Track, Kaeding would do all he could to scratch and claw his way up to a fifth place finish at the line, closing his 2013 season with Roth Motorsports with a pair of top-five finishes.

“It was a great season for this entire company, and a lot of fun,” TK said. “We had a great year for Dennis and Teresa Roth, and I’m hoping we can make even more noise next year.”

Tim and his Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, 3H Cattle,  Mobil1, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, and Astro Titanium for their support in 2013.
