The ever popular Pure Stocks and Mini Sprints will join the field for five of the six winter events while the Modlites and Renegades will split weekends making the Winter Challenge a must see for 2014.

The return of the USAC Copper on Dirt is next on the agenda and will ignite the 2014 Championship Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series, USAC Western States Midgets, West Coast Late Models and IMCA Modifieds. The March two day event will feature top Sprint Car and Midget drivers from across the country joining the stars of the Super Late Model and Modified ranks as all four premier divisions will take center stage in one spectacular event.

March 22nd will feature one of two events for the Arizona Figure 8 Championships featuring the modern daredevils as they take center stage for the exciting Figure 8 spectacular along with the popular Autocross while fans will also have an opportunity to face off in the Spectator races. The Figure 8 Championships will return later in the year for round two on October 4th.

Just on the heels of the Figure 8’s, the traditional Sprint Cars of the USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series will put the thrilling championship season into full swing on March 29th as RJ Johnson sets out to defend his inaugural USAC Sprint Car title. The “CSP Season Opener” will also kick off the point chase for Canyon Speedway’s Pure Stocks, Mini Sprints and AMA Modlites.

While Arizona State IMCA Modified Champion hopefuls will have the opportunity to kick off the points season during the Winter Challenge, it will be “Racin” Jason Noll set to defend the CSP Crown at the Copper on Dirt in March.
