OWASSO, Okla. (Jan. 13, 2014) – TBJ Promotions is excited to announce its 2014 schedule of events, which include five winged sprint car races at four tracks in three states.
Four of the TBJ Promotions races are with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour – the premier 360ci sprint car series in the country.
“We have some events that have been mainstays since the inception of TBJ Promotions,” said TBJ Promotions Founder Tony Bruce Jr., who started the company in 2009. “However, you also have to evolve and we’re excited for a couple of changes and additions in 2014.”
The first event of the season will be the Eagle Motorsports Rock ‘N Roll 50 featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour on Saturday, May 3, at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark. It marks the sixth straight season on the TBJ Promotions schedule.
On Friday, May 8, TBJ Promotions and RacinBoys Co-Founder Scott Traylor will promote the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour’s return to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. It will be the first ASCS National Tour event at the track since 2008 and only the third visit ever.
Three weeks later, on Sunday, May 31, Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., hosts the famed Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals and the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. This will be the fifth consecutive year the Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals will be a TBJ Promotions event.
The Steve King Memorial, which has been on the TBJ Promotions annual calendar since 2009, will shift to Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kan., on Saturday, June 28. It will be an NCRA/ASCS Sooner Region race.
Riverside International Speedway will put on the final TBJ Promotions event of the season – the Midsouth Showdown with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour on Thursday, Aug. 21.
“I’m very proud of the list of events we have assembled,” Bruce Jr. said. “All of the races have special meaning to me and I look forward to providing the fans with top-notch racing at all of the venues.”
