“It is going to be an extraordinary night of racing,” promoter Don Kazarian said.  “This is the first time that the World of Outlaws and the USAC sprint cars have raced together.  When was the last time fans were able to see stars Donny Schatz, Mike Spencer, Daryn Pitman, Damon Gardner and Nic Fas appearing on the same night together in their respective series?  The same with National Sprint Car Hall of Famers Sammy Swindell, Rip Williams and Steve Kinser.  The answer is never!  And, who knows, it may never happen again!”

Established in 1978, the World of Outlaws are the fastest dirt track sprint cars on the face of the earth.  The USAC/CRA Series, which is a descendant of the original California Roadster Association that began operation in 1946, is considered by many to be the most competitive traditional (non wing) sprint car series in the nation.  The outlaws race across the nation and into Canada.  The USAC/CRA Series confines its action to California and Arizona.

“While both series are sprint cars, the wing on top of the Outlaw cars makes them two totally different animals,” Kazarian smiled.  “Fans are going to be treated to two radically different types of racing in one night.  The incredible high speed action of the outlaws with their huge wings on top and the thrilling back it in, wheel to wheel style of the USAC/CRA cars.”

The So Cal Sprint Car Spectacular will be a full night of family fun and exciting, edge of your seat sprint car racing from the time the front gate opens until the last checkered flag of the night.

“The World of Outlaws Fan Pit Pass for those who buy tickets in advance is a great addition to the fan experience for this high profile sprint car event,” Kazarian said.  “As soon as the spectator gates open, fans with the Fan Pit Pass can go straight to the Outlaw pit area to see the cars, take photos, get autographs and purchase merchandise from the teams for the only time in Southern California in 2014.  It will be a great time for kids and adults to get up close and personal with the legendary World of Outlaws.”
