Knoxville, IA — (March 13, 2014) — The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will host the once-postponed “Sprint Car 101:  An Evening with Joe Beaver” program on Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m.  The program is free and open to the public, and it will feature Knoxville Raceway historian Eric Arnold as the emcee.

According to museum executive director Bob Baker today, “Spring has sprung in south central Iowa and we are excited about finally hosting this educational and entertaining program.  Joe Beaver has always been an exciting sprint car racer to watch at Knoxville and around the Upper Midwest, so it will be fun to learn about his life and career.  The program will again be held on the museum’s second floor.”
