Cory Eliason To Take Over Driving Duties In M&S Racing No. 27

The Chico, CA based M&S Racing team is excited to announce that they have put together an agreement with Hanford, CA driver, Cory Eliason to become their new driver kicking off this weekend with two night’s of action at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA.

“First of all we want to wish Sean Becker the best of luck as he goes after the King of the West and Civil War Championships,” Team Owner, Mike Dodds said. “He did a great job for us, and we wish him well.”

Enter Hanford, CA driver, Cory Eliason. In various starts over the last few seasons in 410ci competition over the last few seasons, Eliason has showed exceptional speed, and has flirted with victory with the King of the West Series and in local competition, and recently charged from 17th to seventh with the World of Outlaws.

“We are thrilled to have a young, up and coming driver like Cory on board with us,” Dodds said. “We have raced against him a few times, and he has done a great job, and we are looking forward to having him drive for us.”

Kicking off this Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway in weekly competition, the team will also be in action on Saturday night with the King of the West Series for the Dave Bradway, Jr Memorial.

Moving forward from this weekend, the team plans on hitting various 410ci and 360ci events around the region with Eliason at the helm of the Angius &Terry/M&S Racing Engines/Eagle Chassis No. 27.

“I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity to work with this team,” Eliason said. “They have had a lot of success over the past couple of seasons, and hopefully we can continue that success. This is such an honor, and I am very excited to get started.”
