SYRACUSE, NY – As the 31st Anniversary Season for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints just mere moments away we like to introduce the E&V Energy Tour of the States. Every event in the US will carry a separate point fund and a champion will be crowned at the annual awards banquet in November.
“We have been doing point series within the overall championship for many years now and it as worked very well.” said ESS President Chuck Miller. “The big cash is of course for the overall Lucas Oil points but the other point series helps in two ways. The teams that do follow the whole series can win these also or if a team just can’t quite do the whole tour it gives them a championship to shoot for as well.”

The Tour of the States kicked off at Can-Am on April 25th and will close at the Rolling Wheels Raceway Park on Sept. 27th. It will visit 14 different tracks altogether.
Steve Poirier will be looking to defend his US title but there many top stars that will be gunning to defeat the Quebec star. The names of Paul Kinney, Barney himself, Chuck Hebing, Kevin Ward Jr., Jeff Cook, Patrick Vigneault, Matt Tanner, Joe Trenca, Etienne Girard and many more.
