– Kicking off his 2014 US campaign over the weekend aboard the JG Racing No. 3G machine, James McFadden took on the All Star Circuit of Champions at the Fremont Speedway and after a strong charge on Friday night, McFadden found victory lane on Saturday night by way of his dominating performance in the 50-lap feature.

“I cannot believe how quickly we gelled, and how fast we were out of the box,” McFadden said.

Making his first start aboard the All Star Performance/Red Line Oil/Gaerte Racing Engines No. 3G machine on Saturday night, McFadden timed in 15th fastest on the extremely slick surface.

Lining up third in his heat race, McFadden would hold the spot, as he finished in the third spot, putting him in the feature, as he continued to get comfortable on the speedway, and in the car.

Lining up ninth in the 30-lap main event, McFadden showed poise, and confidence, as he went wheel to wheel with some of the sports top drivers, as he worked his way up to a fourth place finish.

“I used Saturday night to really get used to the track, and get my confidence up,” he said. “The shape is similar to some of the tracks back home, but we really don’t have anything close to being this slick.”

Returning to action on Sunday night for the 50-lap $10,000.0 to win feature event, McFadden started his night off by timing in eighth fastest in time trials.

Running fourth in his heat, McFadden earned a berth in the Dash, and the six pill had him starting third in the race to determine the first three rows of the feature event.

Finishing in the third spot, McFadden lined the XYZ Machining/Shepherd’s Chevrolet/SST entry up in the second row.

With the pole sitter being penalized for jumping the start, McFadden took over the pole position, and led the field to green, as he worked the bottom of the speedway to perfection.

The biggest issues McFadden seemed to have all night was lapped traffic, but the young Australian driver was masterful, as he carved through traffic to near perfection, and raced on to pick up the win.

“I honestly did not know where the fastest part of the track was,” he admitted. “Lapped traffic was just as fast as the leaders, so under the late caution, I asked the guys if we were good, and they assure me I was, so I kept digging. I cannot thank Joe Gaerte and Tim and Cindy Norman enough for this opportunity. It is great to get a win so fast!.”

James and the JG Racing team would like to thank All Star Performance, Red Line Oil, Hoosier Tire, Gaerte Racing Engines, XYZ Machining, Shepherd’s Chevrolet, SST, Brodix, Comp Cams, Diamond Pistons, Dyer’s Rods, Kinsler Fuel Injection, Astro Titanium, Fibertec, DMI, Brown and Miller, Cool Chassis, and Barnes Oil Pumps for their support.
