Merlin, ON — (July 5, 2014) — Glenn Styres can finally cross South Buxton Raceway off his bucket win list.
After many near misses, the Ohsweken veteran driver finally won his first career South Buxton victory Saturday, passing St. Thomas’ Justin Martin on lap 16 and led the final nine circuits of the Southern Ontario Sprints feature.
Mitch Brown, of Brantford, was credited with third over Tilbury’s Kyle Patrick in a photo-finish. Ridgetown’s Adam West, who ran second early in the race, faded to an eighth-place finish.
