NEW PARIS SPEEDWAY UP NEXT FOR AUTO VALUE BUMPER TO BUMPER SUPER SPRINTS ON SATURDAY NIGHT

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (July 10, 2014) – The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints returns to action on Saturday, July 12 at New Paris (IN) Speedway. This weekend’s event marks the second of four events in the state of Indiana and the only race on a quarter-mile oval during the 2014 campaign

Drivers that have scored feature victories in 2014 include Jimmy McCune (Angola), Jo Jo Helberg (Kalamazoo and Dixie), Ryan Litt (Toledo) and Troy DeCaire (M-40).

Heading into Saturday’s program, five-time series champion Jason Blonde leads the point standings after earning two runner-up finishes, three top five-finishes and seven top 10’s. Second in the standings in 2010 series champion Kevin Feeney with Helberg in third position. Rising star Davey Hamilton Jr. is fourth with DeCaire filling out the top five.

Last year the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series competed at New Paris with Ohio’s Jerry Caryer earning the feature victory of National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee Jeff Bloom and Florida standout Troy DeCaire.

In addition to Winged Sprint Cars, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, Front Wheel Drives and Spectator Drags will be part of the racing program at New Paris Speedway.

On Saturday, practice begins at 3:30 p.m. with qualifying set for 5 and the racing program starting at 7. General admission tickets are $15 with kids admitted for 3.
