Tulsa, OK — (July 15, 2014) — You’ll have to do some hunting to find the last time the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real last scattered clay at the Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D.

In fact, it’s been 16 years since Daryn Pittman raced to victory with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour on August 8, 1998. Lou Kennedy and Terry Gray joined Pittman on the podium.

On the schedule in 2012, the event was unfortunately scrubbed. Leased by AtoZ Promotions in 2014, all lights are green for the National Tour’s return to the Black Hills Speedway with the “Billion Kia Gold Rush in the Black Hills”. The promotions group behind the 2013 Jackson Nationals, this is the second time the American Sprint Car Series has worked with Adam Adamson and company.

Following a two night swing though Montanan, Brad Loyet’s advantage now stands at 51 over Jason Johnson. Jeff Swindell closed the gap to 101 with his victory on Saturday at the BMP Speedway. Johnny Herrera rides fourth with Aaron Reutzel closing the gap in fifth, only 17 markers back from Herrera for fourth and only 49 back from Swindell for third.

The “Billion Kia Gold Rush in the Black Hills” at the Black Hills Speedway will see gates open at 5:00 P.M. with races getting underway at 7:35 P.M. Admission is only $26 at the gate or $20 when purchased in advance at http://www.tempotickets.com/tempotickets/site/pages/event.php?e=3216&c=243.
