Port Royal Sked Change Has Twin 25s For 410 Sprints & 305 Sprints August 23

Port Royal – A schedule change has been made to the Port Royal Speedway August 23 Open Wheel Madness event as the URC sprints have been removed from the date and Twin 25s for the 410 sprints have been added.

 

The Open Wheel Madness show will still include the River Valley Builders 305 sprint cars, getting underway at 7 pm.

 

Each of the 25 lap mains for the 410 sprints will carry full purses.

 

An agreement between URC owners and the speedway resulted in the removal of the URC sprints from the all open wheel program.

 

Port Royal and URCownersremain totally open to the opportunity for URC to return to the track in the future however a date in 2014 is not on the agenda.

 

 

August 16 DMI Free Hot Dogs…DMI of Lancaster will give a free hot dog to the first 250 paid general admissions at the Saturday, August 16 Port Royal racing program.

 

On the racing agenda for the 16th is the Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, Jake’s Carts/Enviroman super late models and a Gray’s Auto & Towing 355 econo late model championship, all starting at 7 pm.

 

 

August 9 Moon Shine Camo®Motorcycle Night/Food Pantry Night/Camera & Autograph Night/DMI Kids Candy Scramble…..From 5 – 6:30 pm anyone arriving at the races on a motorcycle will receive a coupon worth $5 off admission at the ticket window.

 

Special parking privileges inside the commercial building at the track will be afforded to all motorcyclists who arrive prior to 6:30 pm.  One $5 off coupon per cycle will be handed out to every motorcycle as it enters the commercial building before the deadline courtesy of Moon Shine.

 

The Moon Shine Camo sponsored racecars of No. 9 Hayes Mattern and No. 7 Chad Layton will be on display prior to the races behind the grandstand while Moon Shine Camo apparel lines will be offered for sale to all race fans in attendance.

 

It will also be Food Pantry Night at the track as it collects non-perishable food items for the Juniata Valley Food Pantry.

 

In addition, it will be the final Camera & Autograph Night of the season at the track, featuring free admission to the pit area prior to the races with the purchase of a general admission ticket from 5 until 6 pm.

 

DMI of Lancaster will present a Kids Candy Scramble slated for the speedway frontstretch as well.

 

Racing in the 7 pm program will be the Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, Jake’s Carts/Enviroman super late models, River Valley Builders 305 sprints and the Len Krautheim Auto Sales xtreme stocks.

 

Moon Shine Camo will give away special apparel prize packs to each of the oval’s four winners on the night in victory lane.

 

Select lucky fans in the crowd during the night will receive free Moon Shine Camo attire.

 

And the first 500 fans entering the stands will receive a free Moon Shine Camo can koozie.
