(Lebanon, IN) Saturday will be one of the biggest days of racing for the Mel Keny9on Midget Series.  With a make-up feature from August 23 and the scheduled Labor Day weekend race, the drivers and teams will face 70 laps of feature racing.

In addition to providing the fans with wheel to wheel racing, the day becomes critical to the drivers chasing USSA Midget points.  Cole Fehr will start the race in 1st place, 90 points in front of Colten Dooley.  Jessica Bean trails Dooley by 14 points.  If Fehr stumbles and has a bad day on the high banks, he could very well see most of his point cushion evaporate.

Clayton Gaines, Kent Kriegbaum, Ryan and Logan Huggler fill out the second tier in the Mel Kenyon Midget Series point battle, holding down the 4th to 7th spots.  The four drivers are separated by only 70 points.

Race fans will be treated to a full night of open wheel racing action at Anderson Speedway.  In addition to double header USSA midget racing action, the Must See Racing Winged Sprint Cars have 200 laps on tap for the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

Anderson Speedway qualifying will begin at 6:30 with racing at 8:00.  Tickers are $15 for adults, $4 for kids 6 to 12 and kids 5 and under are free.
