The United Rebel Sprint Series (URSS) will head this Saturday night to the big famed ½ mile at Elmwood Park Speedway in Norton Ks. This will be the second and final visit to the fairgrounds track this year for the Rebels.

Colorado’s Jake Bubak dominated the field at the previous visit as he overtook Brian Herbert on the tenth lap and cruised to a commanding victory.

With only two races remaining on the URSS schedule this season, Bubak has a sizeable lead for the Kansas Championship with Steven Richardson and Zach Blurton fighting for the runner up position with only 20 points separating the two.

The Kansas Rookie of the year battle is still deadlocked with both Jeremy Huish and Jed Werner tied for 4th in points for the Kansas region.

Many drivers are still looking for their first win of the season as past Champions Brian Herbert and Raymond Seemann will be looking for their first win of the season. Herbert appeared to have won the opening race in Dodge City this season but was light at the scales after the race.

Races start at 7pm and will also be broadcast live on racinboys.com
