            The USAC Western Classic Sprint cars conclude their 2014 campaign this Saturday at Petaluma (Calif.) Speedway and series point leader Ryan Bernal will try to cap his championship season.

            Four victories, a third and a fifth in seven starts have led to Bernal’s 95-point lead over runner-up Matt Mitchell, who hopes to post his second series win at Placerville after winning earlier this season at Watsonville, Calif.

            Nic Faas, third in the standings, has accounted for the other two feature wins this year.
