Bloomington, IN — (October 31, 2014) — Continuing preparations for the 2015 debut of the 305 RaceSaver Winged Sprint Car Series, Bloomington Speedway announced that Kinser Air Filters will be the title sponsor. They also finalized the purse structure for the series events.

The track’s General Manager, Kris Kirchner, signed an agreement formalizing the name of the new winged sprint car division as the Kinser-AirFilters.com 305 RaceSavers late in the week. The RaceSaver 305 sprint cars will be a regular part of Bloomington’s traditional Friday night racing program in the coming year.

Many were impressed with the demonstration of the 305 RaceSaver package by sprint car veteran Adam Gullion, from Nebraska’s Eagle Raceway, during Bloomington’s final 2014 event. The machine turned very quick laps and it was easy to see the potential for a very competitive division on the quarter mile oval.

The cost to go racing with the 305 RaceSaver rules has been estimated to be as little as $7,500 – $10,000 for a car that could be very competitive. A regular sprint car chassis is used and there are few rules governing the engines, other than the required RaceSaver components. Track officials are aware of a number of teams already being formed for 2015 competition and more information will be published about them as we get closer to next season.

In another announcement, the purse for the Kinser-AirFilters.com 305 RaceSavers was published. The A-Feature will pay $600 to win and $150 to start, with a total payout of $4,095. Those who don’t transfer from the B-Main will earn $50. It is structured as:

1. $600

2. $350

3. $250

4. $225

5. $200
