The “Great Day” morning KCWI-23 TV show segment on the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show will be broadcast live at 7:40 a.m. Central, with host Lou Sipolt, Jr., and special guest Dan Hutchings. Sipolt is a former Chitwood Thrill Show driver, while Davis County Fairboard member Hutchings is an auto thrill show memorabilia collector.

The 60-minute documentary “Hell Drivers: America’s Original Crash Test Dummies” was directed by Peter Koziell and written by Darren Garnick in 2008 and it won a Golden Wheel Award at the International Reel Wheel Film Festival in Knoxville. The film, which will be screened in the museum second-floor theater at 6 p.m., will provide a good lead-in to tomorrow night’s forum on county fairs and auto thrill shows.

The “Sprint Car 101” Third Thursday Series program will begin at 7 p.m. Central and it will be moderated by Lou Sipolt, Jr., and it will feature National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Ralph Capitani, fellow former Chitwood Thrill Show drivers Jim Cadwell & Jimmy Canton, and thrill show memorabilia collectors Dan Hutchings & Chad Van Dyke.
