Denison, IA — (March 30, 2015) — Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event on Friday, June 12 at Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa and can be purchased online at http://slspromotions.ticketforce.com/ordertickets.asp?p=144&backurl=default.asp or by calling SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023.
Starting May 14th, fans can take advantage of the “O’Reilly Auto Parts Special” of $5 OFF, when purchasing a General Admission ticket at participating O’Reilly Auto Part stores. The ticket buyer will exchange their O’Reilly receipt for a General Admission ticket at the Main Grandstand ticket booth on race day.
Crawford County Speedway, a semi-banked three-eighths-mile (four-tenths-mile around the top), with wide, sweeping corners, will be one of eight tracks in the state of Iowa, that the series has raced at dating back to its inaugural 1978 season.
Through action on March 29, Donny Schatz, the six-time and defending series champion, who drives for Tony Stewart Racing, leads the point standings over Shane Stewart, who drives for a team co-owned by NASCAR rising star Kyle Larson. Brad Sweet, driving for Kasey Kahne Racing is currently third in points, followed by veteran driver Paul McMahan in fourth and 2013 series titlist Daryn Pittman in fifth. Also in action at Crawford County Speedway on June 12 will be Joey Saldana, Kerry Madsen, David Gravel, Jason Sides, Kraig Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Logan Schuchart, Jacob Allen and rookie contender Jason Johnson.
