Spring Run, PA — (April 5, 2015) — Fred Rahmer Promotions brings the fastest cars on dirt—the 410 Sprint Cars—to Spring Run, Pennsylvania’s Path Valley Speedway, on Sunday, April 26th, giving drivers the opportunity to add to the already lucrative purse with paid qualifying events, bonus money and a unique contingency award program that allows fans to vote for the winner.

“We want to make this as exciting of an event as we can,” Rahmer explained. “I know when I raced, we pushed 100 percent all of the time – but if there was a little more of an incentive or a bonus we’d push 110 percent. It makes it more fun as a competitor and puts on a better show for the fans.”

Kicking off the ‘padding of the purse’ is a $500 bonus to the winner of each 410 Sprint Car qualifying heat event – as long as that winner comes from outside of the front row. If a driver from the front row picks up the victory they will receive $200 for their win, and the additional $300 will be added into the Lawrence Chevrolet Non-Qualifiers event jackpot.

Lawrence Chevrolet of Mechanicsburg, PA presents the Non-Qualifiers event with a guaranteed winner’s share of $500 – but that jackpot could reach as high as $1,700 depending on the results of the qualifying heat events. In 2014, 17-year-old second-generation driver Chandler Leiby earned $1,100 for his non-qualifiers win.

Hoosier Racing Tires gets involved with a 410 Sprint Car contingency bonus that sees six right rear Hoosier Tires being distributed to drivers based on a fan vote, as well as four right rear Hooser tires that will be distributed to 600cc Winged Micro Sprint drivers based on a random drawing.

With a $5,000 winner’s share up for grabs, a stellar field of the nation’s top 410 Sprint Car drivers have already confirmed their attendance, including Greg Hodnett, Lance Dewease, Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks, Cole Duncan, Chad Kemenah, Danny Smith, Greg Wilson, Travis Philo, Shane Helms, Tim Shaffer, and Cody Darrah.

Registration is limited for the 600cc Winged Micro Sprints and entry forms are flying in. Drivers are encouraged to visit www.fredrahmerpromotions.com to download the registration form.

All the action takes place on Sunday, April 26 with pit gates opening at 12:00 noon, grandstand gates opening at 2:00 PM, and hot laps beginning at 6:00 PM with time trials immediately following.
