Port Royal Offers $1 Dogs & Four-Division Racing Program Saturday

Port Royal, PA — (April 7, 2015) — Port Royal Speedway will be in action this week, Saturday, April 11 at 5 pm with a four-division racing program on $1 Hot Dog Night.

Races will include the 410 sprints, super late models, Gray’s Auto & Towing 355-econo late models and the all american outlaws.

Hot dogs will be sold for the entire night at the low price of JUST $1.

Gates will open at 3 pm with adult general admission set at $15 and students ages 12 – 18 admitted for just $7.

A limited admission Kids Bus Ride will take place for select lucky youth during intermission. The first 50 youth entering the main grandstand will receive a voucher that will admit them to the intermission bus tour of the track.

The track will return to action on April 18 with Race To Cure Cancer Night featuring the 410 sprints, super late models and River Valley Builders 305 sprints.

And then a huge sprint car racing event will take center stage on April 25 when the Bob Weikert Memorial sanctioned by the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints is staged at 7 pm.

A stellar field of talented sprint car stars is expected to vie for a total purse this year that eclipses $43,000 to go along with another near $5,000 in contingency cash.

The first 450 fans entering the main grandstand for the Weikert Memorial will receive either a free Weikert’s Livestock hat or a can cooler with many other giveaways slated for the program.
