Indianapolis, IN — (April 27, 2015) — North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and California all host USAC HPD Midget action this weekend as the Eastern, Midwest and Western series compete. Eastern races are Friday at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. and Saturday at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, Va. Midwest openers are slated Friday at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway and Saturday at Shady Bowl Speedway in DeGraff, Ohio. Western HPDs travel to Madera (Calif.) Speedway on Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s event is part of the “Vukovich Classic.”

Friday’s Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness “Rollie Beale Classic” at Toledo showcases USAC’s Silver Crown and HPD Midget series.

Jet Davison of Running Springs, Calif. and Jesse Love IV of Menlo Park, Calif. captured USAC HPD feature wins Saturday night at Ventura Raceway. Davison led all 20 laps of the USAC Western HPD race to beat Courtney Crone, Randi Pankratz, Shawn Buckley and Gary Howard. In the accompanying 15-lap restricted feature, Love led all the way to beat Cinnamon Brown, Joel Rayborne and Robert Dalby.
