(Lebanon, IN)  The Mel Kenyon Midget Series 2015 point battle is set to get red hot this Saturday night at US 24 Speedway in Logansport, IN.  Series point leader Kyle O’Gara and the winner of the first three races of the season has another racing commitment and will not be at the track.  His absence will give Dameron Taylor the opportunity to jump into the point lead with a good performance in the flat dirt track.

Taylor currently holds the second spot just 26 markers behind O’Gara.  Taylor, however, must keep an eye on his mirror as Logan Huggler, trails him by a scant 3 points.  Taylor, along with O’Gara, are two of the three current Mel Kenyon Midget Series drivers to earn win on US 24’s bullring.

The third driver with wins at US 24 Jessica Bean will return to competition after a week off.  Bean is the winningest active USSA driver at US 24 with three trips to victory lane along with 8 top fives.

The Mel Kenyon Midget Series returns to action in the first on Saturday May 9 at US 24 Speedway in Logansport, IN.  Practice on the US 24 bullring will begin at 6:15 with racing schedule to start at 7:30.  The USSA midgets will compete in a 30 lap feature.
