Syracuse, NY — (May 13, 2015) — With the opening weekend at Can-Am and Mohawk being weathered out, the 32nd Anniversary Tour for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) kicks off this Saturday at the famed Selinsgrove Speedway. It’s billed as the Mach 1 Shootout and pays a hefty $3,000 to win with $400 just to take the green.

A fast Snyder County oval will see the very best from the ESS ranks take on the stout Selinsgrove track regulars. Defending and five-time champion Steve Poirier will lead the brigade from the North. Jason Barney, Jeff Cook, Paul Kinney, Chuck Hebing, Dave Axton, Parker Evans, Tommy Wickham, Tim Axton, Joe Trenca, Steve Collins, Rob Dietrick and others will be on hand.

Probably the hottest 360 driver in the country Mark Smith will defend the home turf as well as TJ Stutts, Jason Shultz, Eric Tomecek, Derek Locke, Cody Keller, Ryan Kissinger, Colby Womer and more.

Throw in the likes of Davie Franek, Robbie Stillwaggon, Troy Betts, Mark Bitner, Keith Prutzman, Bryn Gohn and more you have a star studded field.

The event will pay points towards the overall Lucas Oil ESS championship as well as the NAPA Auto Parts US Tour 2015.
