An up and down season to date in 2015 saw Jonathan Allard put by far his strongest weekend together. Picking up a thrilling last-lap pass on Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway, Allard dismantled the Civil War Series field on Saturday night to close out his weekend.

“It has been a true team effort,” Jonathan Allard said. “We had Clark Riolo come on board this week, and he helped for sure.”

Saturday night at the Petaluma Speedway with the Civil War Series, Allard got his night off to a nice start as his seventh fastest effort during time trials, put him on the front row of his heat race.

From his outside front row starting position, the Chico, CA wheelman got off to a strong start, as he raced his way to the win and earned a spot in the night’s dash.

Finding himself with the three-pill, ‘JA’ would work his way into the second spot, where he would finish, and put his Tri-C Manufacturing/K&N/ButlerBuilt No. 3c machine on the front row of the 30-lap feature event.

Though the start of the race was slowed by cautions, Allard made it clear early that he was the man to beat, as he would leave the field restart, after restart, and quickly open up a sizeable lead.

A restart on lap 14 saw Allard get on the throttle a little too hard as he lifted his front wheels off the ground, and let Colby Copeland take over the race lead only to see the caution fly and reset the field.

That would be as close as anyone would come to Allard, as he was sensational on Saturday night as he picked up his fifth win of the season, a night after winning a thriller at the Silver Dollar Speedway.

Friday night in Chico, CA Allard and Copeland went toe-to-toe in what was a very entertaining feature event.

Qualifying second fastest in time trials, Allard would finish second in his heat race before the eight pill saw him line up in the fourth row for the 25-lap feature event.

When the race went green, Allard wasted no time getting to the front as he worked into the third spot by the time the second lap was completed. Chasing after Sean Becker and Colby Copeland, Allard would move into the second spot as Becker had issues.

In lapped traffic in the closing laps, Allard made a bold move coming to the white flag as he took the race lead, to the crowd’s approval, and did not look back as he picked up his 59th career win at the track he calls home.

“It was an awesome weekend for this team,” Allard said “The last couple of weeks have been really good, and to get three wins out of our last four races is special. As it continues to get hot in CA, we know there are some big races ahead, and I hope we can continue to run well. I really have to thank all of my guys, and Clyde and Marion Lamar for all of their support.”

Allard would like to thank Tri-C Manufacturing, K&N, ButlerBuilt, Amerikote, King Racing Products, BR Motorsports, Red Line Oil, KSE Racing Products, Weld Wheels, NGK Spark Plugs, FK Rod Ends, Hunt Magnetos, Longacre Products, RCM Design, Ti64, A.R.T.
