Indianapolis, IN — (July 21, 2015) — After joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday evening, June 18th, the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will take a few days to regroup before turning their attention towards a pair of events in the Great Lakes region of the country. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will visit Michigan and Wisconsin during their trip around the outer edges of Lake Michigan; visiting Hartford, Michigan and Wilmot, Wisconsin during their travels. Competition will kick-off on Friday evening, July 24th with the ‘King of Michigan’ program at the Hartford Motor Speedway in Hartford, Michigan.

“We are excited for the upcoming weekend”, said Tony Stewart, All Star series owner, “Our schedule is diverse and we have the opportunity to visit a lot of different areas. We want to showcase our talent and expose our teams to a variety of sprint car enthusiasts. Hopefully our upcoming trip into Michigan and Wisconsin prove to be worthwhile for not only the fans, but also our teams making the journey.”

After their visit to the Hartford Motor Speedway on Friday night, July 24th, the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will travel around the southern tip of Lake Michigan and venture just north of Chicago, Illinois to the Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin. The stars and cars of the UNOH All Stars will highlight the racing card at Wilmot Raceway on Saturday evening, July 25th; co-sanctioning the event with the Interstate Racing Association, or IRA, for one night only. The trip to Wilmot, Wisconsin will conclude the Great Lakes doubleheader for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions.

The ‘Steel City Outlaw’ Tim Shaffer is the most recent UNOH All Star main event winner at Hartford Motor Speedway in Hartford, Michigan. The former multi-time UNOH All Star champion earned the Michigan victory on July 10th, 2009. ‘The Lowrider’ Dale Blaney, who has 121 career series victories, earned UNOH All Star main event top honors during the series’ last visit to Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin back on July 19th, 2014.

Dale Blaney, the all-time leading feature winner with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, will lead the regional travelers into action during the Hartford/Wilmot weekend. Blaney, pilot of the familiar GoMuddy.com, Big Game Treestands, CH Motorsports, #1, stands on top of the current UNOH All Star standings with six victories, 18 top-five and 26 top-ten finishes. Cody Darrah, former World of Outlaws ‘Rookie of the Year’ winner, finds himself second in the current standings with two UNOH All Star victories thus far in 2015, followed by former UNOH All Star champion Chad Kemenah. Kemenah has one UNOH All Star victory thus far this season; occurring at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania back on Saturday, May 2nd. Blaney has earned victories at Lernerville (PA) Speedway, Plymouth (IN) Speedway, Canandaigua (NY) Motorsports Park, Attica (OH) Raceway Park, Sharon (OH) Speedway, and Atomic (OH) Speedway during his 2015 UNOH All Star season; Darrah owns victories at the Port Royal (PA) Speedway and Millstream (OH) Speedway.

The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions recently entered competition at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio; appearing at the 32nd annual ‘Kings Royal’ on Saturday, July 18th. The $50,000-to-win program was worth ‘show up points’ only for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, with all of the series travelers entered for competition at ‘The Big E.’ Despite nearly five hours of delayed action as a result of continuous rain showers, it was Shane Stewart earning top honors at Eldora Speedway from a 14th starting position; collecting the $50,000 check and the royal scepter. Greg Wilson was the top UNOH All Star ‘Kings Royal’ finisher. The Benton Ridge, Ohio native finished 12th in the A-main running order. Dale Blaney, Cody Darrah and Tim Shaffer also earned ‘Kings Royal’ main event starting positions.
