Findlay, OH, July 30, 2015 – On a night that features traditional sprint cars without wings, like they’ve been raced since before the middle of the last century, it seems pretty fitting that the Millstream Speedway program will be joined by the Vintage American Race Cars club.  On Sunday, August 2, VARC members will display their cars previous to the night’s on-track activity, and will later take their cars to the speedway for 2 different race exhibitions to show what racing looked like in other eras.  The exact field of cars varies from appearance to appearance, but Millstream race fans can expect to see a variety of race car types, like coups, midgets, sprints, modifieds, and stock cars, from different eras spanning the last several decades.

Sunday night’s 4-division racing program also includes the wingless sprint cars of the Mo Vaughn Transport Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS), a stock car division that will also include some dirt trucks, and the winged 1000cc mini sprints.  All gates open at 3pm, with on-track action beginning earlier this week, now at 5:30pm.

Millstream Motorsports Complex, home of Millstream Speedway, is located 3 miles west of Findlay.  Take US-224 West to TR-136, turn right, just 2 blocks to the corner of TR-136 and TR-95.  Please do not park in areas marked as “no parking,” as you could be towed at your expense.  Stakes may not be used to mark hillside spots, but spray paint is OK.  No tape on the bleachers, please.  General admission is $20, Seniors (65 & older) $15, Youth 11-15 $10, 10yrs and under are FREE.  Coolers up to 14″ permitted.  No glass, please.  No beer carried in but can be purchased on-site.
