Findlay, OH, August 17, 2015 – It’s been nearly two months since the All Star Circuit of Champions headlined the grand re-opening of Millstream Speedway and left the large excited crowd wanting more.  This Sunday, August 23, promoters Randy and Lisa Hammer will deliver just that, with a return of the popular winged sprint car series to the ½ mile oval, paying $5,000 to win the feature event.  A full program of 305 cubic inch sprint cars will share the night’s schedule.

Race fans can expect a program similar to the July event, with a few changes.  They’ll certainly see fast race cars – last month’s event saw top speeds clocked at over 120 mph!  An autograph session and race car display will take place in front of the spectator area prior to the racing action, followed by racing trivia and other prize contests.  New this time around is the Millstream Water Balloon Challenge, with divisions for all ages – including the adults!  All gates will open a little later, at 3pm, with on-track action beginning a little earlier, with hot laps now at 5:30pm and race time at 6:30pm.

Millstream Motorsports Complex, home of Millstream Speedway, is located 3 miles west of Findlay.  Take US-224 West to TR-136, turn right, just 2 blocks to the corner of TR-136 and TR-95.  Please do not park in areas marked as “no parking,” as you could be towed at your expense. Tailgating with a grill is welcomed, but please no fires on the ground.  Stakes may not be used to mark hillside spots, but spray paint is OK.  No tape on the bleachers, please.  General admission is $20, Military w/ID $18, Seniors (65 & older) $15, Youth 11-15 $10, 10yrs and under are FREE.  Coolers up to 14″ permitted.  No glass, please.  No beer carried in but can be purchased on-site.
