Rossburg, OH – (October 10, 2015) – Ryan Ruhl took advantage of the opportunity afforded to him to win the K&L Ready Mix National Racing Alliance feature during the UNOH Sprintacular Saturday night at Eldora Speedway. Ruhl worked his way up from row three into second place when then leader Kyle Sauder flipped in turns one and two. After a momentary challenge by Devon Dobie for the lead during the restart Ruhl pulled away for his first career Eldora Speedway victory.

“I can’t believe it, this is incredible,” said Ruhl in victory lane. “I can’t explain it. I was impressed just to be able to come race here, let alone win a race.”

After a spin by Shawn Dancer negated the first start Ed Neumeister jumped into the lead with Kyle Sauder driving around the top into second. Devon Dobie, Ryan Ruhl and Tanner Thorson raced for third behind them.

Sauder quickly closed in on Neumeister with Sauder diving to the inside through turns three and four to pass him for the lead on lap four. Two laps later Ruhl moved around Neumeister for second and started to run down Sauder for the lead.

Sauder encountered slower traffic on lap eight while Dobie moved around Neumeister for the third spot. Then on lap 12 Sauder went up and over the right rear of a slower car in turn one and tumbled down the track in turns one and two to bring out the red flag. Sauder emerged uninjured, but the car was destroyed.

Ruhl inherited the lead with Dobie on his back bumper. Dobie dove to the inside of Ruhl through turns one and two, but Ruhl used his momentum to maintain the lead. During that restart Jared Horstman moved into fifth around Butch Schroeder while Randy Hannagan moved from the back of the field into sixth on lap 17.

Horstman continued his march through the field around Thorson and Neumeister to move into third on lap 18. Horstman then closed on Dobie for second on lap 20. Horstman looked under Dobie through turns one and two, but Dobie held the position. Horstman continued to pressure Dobie for the runner up spot, even splitting a car three wide through slower traffic, with Horstman taking the position with two laps to go.

Up front thought Ruhl was dominant picking up the feature win. Horstman, Dobie, Hannagan, and Thorson rounded out the top five.

Schroeder was the fastest qualifier with a lap of 14.241 seconds and won the first heat race. Jared Horsman and Kyle Sauder also picked up heat race victories while Ron Blair won the B-Main.
