BAYTOWN, Texas — December 7, 2015 — NASCAR star and World of Outlaws team owner, Kasey Kahne, will be in attendance at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas on Saturday, February 27, watching his two teams compete as O’Reilly Auto Parts presents the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series hosted by Kasey Kahne.
Kasey will host an invitation-only “Meet & Greet” on race day at the track. To be invited, fans who have purchased tickets in advance by Tuesday, February 23 will have their names entered into a random drawing. A total of 250 names will be drawn on February 23. Selected fans will be notified via email or phone and will need to respond and confirm that they will be attending the “Meet & Greet.”
Kahne owns the No. 9 machine that 2013 World of Outlaws champion Daryn Pittman drives, along with the No. 49 car that Brad Sweet pilots. Sweet won five times in 2015 en route to finishing third in points. Pittman was victorious four times this past season on his way to a fourth-place showing in points.

Beginning on January 27, tickets will also be available for purchase at local participating O’Reilly Auto Parts stores, with a special $5 discount. Tickets buyers will exchange their O’Reilly receipt for tickets at the Main Grandstand ticket booth on race day.

O’Reilly Auto Parts presents the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series hosted by Kasey Kahne will mark the 13th A-Feature event contested by the series at Royal Purple Raceway, dating back to 2000. Six drivers have been victorious at the track with the series in 10 different seasons. Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, who stepped away from full-time racing following the 2014 season, won five times at the track, including the first two and four of the first five. Donny Schatz, the reigning series champion has won twice in his career.
In the World of Outlaws last visit to the Royal Purple Raceway in 2011, three-time series champion and Hall of Famer Sammy Swindell picked up the win. Donny Schatz is the winningest current full-time driver with the series at the track, having scored a pair of wins in 2005 and 2007. Joey Saldana and Jason Sides have each been to victory lane once at Royal Purple Raceway as well with the World of Outlaws.
In 12 A-Feature events for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in 10 different seasons at Royal Purple Raceway, six drivers have been victorious.
The 2015 campaign was a historic one for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series as Schatz became just the second driver to win 30-plus A-Feature events in the season, 31 to be exact, joining Kinser, who accomplished the feat three separate times in his illustrious career. On his way to winning his seventh World of Outlaws title, Schatz surpassed the 200-win plateau for his career, joining Kinser and Swindell as the only three drivers in series history to achieve that mark.
A total of 22 drivers won A-Feature events with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in 2015, including full-time drivers: Shane Stewart, who finished second in points, Brad Sweet, who drives for Kasey Kahne Racing, along with his teammate, 2013 series champion Daryn Pittman, Australian driver Kerry Madsen, Indiana native Joey Saldana, veteran Paul McMahan and longtime independent Jason Sides.
