(Lebanon, IN)  Nick Hamilton and Dameron Taylor will bring experience in victory lane to the Lincoln tech Indianapolis Speedrome Saturday while Ryan Huggler brings the 2016 point lead.  Hamilton and Taylor are the only two drivers currently active in the UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series who have scored wins on the legendary 1/5 mile oval.

Huggler has put together two consistently high finishes to grab the early point lead.  Huggler’s brother Logan sits in 2nd place with Hamilton, Taylor and Trey Osborne rounding out the top five in championship points.  Only 36 points separate the five drivers in the point battle’s early going.  The 50 lap feature distance on the flat pavement oval of the Speedrome provides addition challenges to the drivers with patience sometimes balancing pure speed.

2015 Series Champion Kyle O’Gara swept the races at the Speedrome last season. 2012 Champion Travis Young dominated the series events during his championship season.

Joining the UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series the Saturday April 30 at the Lincoln Tech Indianapolis Speedrome are the Indy Fast Carts, the Pro Compacts, the Thundercar Figure 8 cars and the Super Stock Figure 98 cars.  The spectator gates open at 4:30 with qualifying at 6:05 and racing at 7:00.
