ATTICA, Ohio – May will be a busy month of racing at Attica Raceway Park.Attica Raceway Park Top Story Logo

 

On Friday, May 13, “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant will pay tribute to one of the track’s founders with the Eric Phillips’ 28th Anniversary Classic presented by American Powersports of Findlay and Sandusky and Merrill Lynch Financial Services.

 

The event will include the Kistler Racing Products FAST Championship Series Presented by KS Sales and Service featuring the O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints. It will also be a JLH General Contractor 305 FAST Series Presented by Engine Pro event. The Fremont Fence 305 Sprints will be battling for $1,000 to win thanks to Gressman Powersports. The Summit Racing Equipment UMP Late Models will also be in action.

 

On Friday, May 20, Edward Jones of Clyde Night will give fans a treat with $1 hot dogs and all Scouts and their leaders who arrive in uniform will be admitted free! The 410 sprints, 305 sprints and late models will be in action.

 

The month wraps up with the second appearance of Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions paying a visit on Tusing Builders/Kear’s Speed Shop Night, Friday, May 27. The Sunoco American Late Model Series and 305 sprints will also be on the racing card.

 

This will be the 110th visit of the travelling All Stars to Attica Raceway Park. Six time All Star champion Dale Blaney picked up his 17th career series victory at the track on April 15, holding off four time All Star champion Chad Kemenah.

 

The ALMS also visited Attica on April 15 and defending track champion Doug Drown scored a dominating win.
