Findlay, OH – After a successful reopening of Millstream Speedway in 2015, anticipation is high for what is to come next. The 2016 schedule will not disappoint, with a premium on diversity and high-stature events.
The opening event is on Sunday, June 12, when the new Ohio Sprint Car Series comes to the half-mile oval, paying $3,000 to the winner. The OSCS will be accompanied by Late Models and a “combination” division of stock cars and trucks that will join every single event on this year’s schedule.
A long-awaited tradition returns the following week when Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions brings Ohio Sprint Speedweek back to Millstream on Sunday, June 19. The All Stars will return later in the season, on August 28. Both events pay $5,000 to win. The August event shares top billing with the 2nd Annual Ron Jenkins Memorial, paying $1,000 to the stock division winner.
The 2nd Annual Buckeye Dirt Late Model Speedweek comes to town on Sunday, July 24, after a rain-foiled attempt during the inaugural week-long series in 2015. The Millstream Speedway staff is excited to be on the ground floor of what may well become another great Ohio racing tradition. In another popular return to the schedule, the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series will bring their side-winding non-wing version of sprint car racing to Findlay on Sunday, September 11.
The final event of 2016 is not “officially” sanctioned by any series, but it’s a pretty good bet that some “big names” will be in the pit area…and in the cockpit! In the season’s only Saturday night show, both the winged and non-winged super sprints will be running for $5,000 to win. Throw in the 305 cubic inch winged sprint cars and the stock division and the winners’ checks alone will exceed well over $11,000!

Millstream Motorsports Complex, home of Millstream Speedway, is located 3 miles west of Findlay. Take US-224 West to TR-136, turn right, just 2 blocks to the corner of TR-136 and TR-95. Please do not park in areas marked as “no parking,” as you could be towed at your expense. Tailgating with a grill is welcomed, but please no fires on the ground. Stakes may not be used to mark hillside spots, but spray paint is OK. No tape on the bleachers, please. Coolers up to 14″ permitted. No glass, please. No beer carried in but can be purchased on-site.
