Speedway Motors ASCS Warriors Set For U.S. 36 Raceway and Valley Speedway

TULSA, Okla (June 7, 2016) Set for a double header this coming weekend, the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awning, and Wraps hits the high banks of the U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, Mo. on Friday, June 10; followed by Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo. on Saturday, June 11.

The annual Budweiser Shootout at U.S. 36 Raceway, Heat Races will come with a kick as each one will pay $500 to the winner. The night’s A-Feature will be $1,500 to win. Taking the action to Valley Speedway the following night, more bonus money will be up for grabs. If a driver can sweep the weekend, an additional $500 will be awarded. Also available is a $100 bonus if a driver podiums both nights.
Going into the weekend double header, Jonathan Cornell continues to lead the way in 2016 series standings. Coming off back-to-back wins with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awning, and Wraps, as this past weekend’s events at Callaway Raceway fell to weather, Cornell leads the regional standings by 135 markers. Evan Martin holds second with Cody Baker, Danny Thoman, and Austin Alumbaugh making up the top-five. Tyler Thomas, Tyler Blank, Kyle Bellm, Chris Morgan, and Broc Elliott make up the top-ten.
So far in 2016, six A-Features have yielded four winners with Cornell and Brandon Hanks each at two wins on the year. Brian Brown and John Carney II make up the list of winners.
Friday, June 10 at the U.S. 36 Raceway will open at 4:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. (CDT) with A-Mods, B-Mods, and E-Mods also on the docket. Saturday, June 11 at Valley Speedway is the only time the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will be at Grain Valley, Mo. oval. Midgets and Outlaw Streets will complete the night’s program. Admission is $17. Reserved Seats are $18, Party Deck is $20, Pit Passes are $35. Gates will open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M.
