Lebanon, Oregon- After being absent from the state of Oregon for about a month the Wingless Sprint Series returns to the Beaver State this weekend.  Lebanon, Oregon’s Willamette Speedway will the venue the WSS will travel to on Saturday June 18th.  It will be the first time they will visit the historic 1/3-mile clay oval in 2016.

Rob Lindsey is the driver to beat as he has managed to find victory lane twice this year.  He was the winner back in early May at Madras Speedway and most recently last Saturday at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington.  The only other driver to win with the tour is teenager Cooper Desbiens who pulled off the victory at Cottage Grove Speedway on May 21st.

Willamette Speedway has not seen Non-Wing Sprint Car racing since July of 2013.  Rest assured you are going to see some right rears on the cushion rim riding the top shelf of this quick venue and be prepared for the breathtaking sliders in the tight turns.
