Post Falls, Idaho- After a handful of weeks of the Royal Purple NSRA Sprint Series returns to action this Saturday June 25th. It will be their one and only visit to State Line Speedway in the Idaho panhandle city of Post Falls. At stake will be the one of a kind Super Shoe trophy. It is a unique piece of hardware with a flat top slab for the winner’s shoe to be placed upon.
“We’re always excited to have the NSRA here at State Line Speedway,” commented Dean Boever, General Manager of State Line Speedway, “these are the fastest cars that come to this place so you don’t want to miss it.”
The Super Shoe has existed since 2008 and amazingly has had three repeat winners. Rick Brown (2008 and 2013), Johnny Giesler (2011 and 2012), and Sierra Jackson (2010 and 2014) have all won this event twice. Matt Hein is the only driver to have been triumphant once and earned his victory last year.
In 2016 the Royal Purple NSRA Sprint Series has ran three times. There have been three different winners including Matt Hein, Bryan Warf, and Robbie Price. Will there we see the first repeat victor of the current campaign this Saturday?
Tickets are $20.00 for Adults, Students (12-15)/Military/Seniors $19.00, Juniors (6-11) $6.00, and Children (5 and Under) are FREE. A Family Plan will be offered for 2 Adults and up to 3 children under 16) for $48.00. Front Gates open at 5:00 PM, Qualifying at 6:00, and Opening Ceremonies at 7:15.
