MUSKOGEE, Okla. (July 5, 2016) – Outlaw Motor Speedway is gearing up for the return of the American Sprint Car Series with round two of this weekend’s “Sooner Sweep” taking to the 3/8-mile clay oval near Muskogee, OK, this Friday night.

Friday’s Red River Region event will mark the lone event of 2016 for the Tulsa-based ASCS winged Sprint Car series at the Outlaw Motor Speedway.

Along with the winged Sprint Cars of the ASCS Red River Region, Friday’s card will also include IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and Pure Stocks.

The green flag is set to fly at 8:00 p.m. with gates opening at 5:00 p.m.

Among those expected for Friday’s tilt are current ASCS Red River Region points leader Brandon Hanks, veteran National Tour contender Tony Bruce, Jr., and Kyle Bellm, who ranked as last year’s ASCS National Tour Rookie of the Year.

A perennial ASCS National Tour contender, Liberal, KS, native Tony Bruce, Jr., takes the wheel of the Missouri-based Smith Racing No. 86 for Friday night’s action at Outlaw Motor Speedway.  Bruce, Jr., reached Outlaw Motor Speedway with an ASCS Speedweek win in 2014.

Hailing from Nixa, MO, Kyle Bellm represents the “Show-Me State” after finishing seventh in Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour points last year to capture Rookie of the Year honors aboard the RAMS No. 14k Sprint Car.

From Burlison, TN, Brandon Hanks brings a 173-point ASCS Red River Region points lead into the weekend over Coweta’s Kade Morton with Drumright’s Fred Mattox, Derby, Kansas shoe Jake Greider and Coweta’s Chance Morton also among the top five in points.

Leading the way into Friday in the track’s championship battles are Dalton Clay in IMCA Modifieds, Logan Ellis in IMCA Sport Modifieds, Kevin Flock in IMCA Stock Cars and Susan Lindell in Pure Stocks.

General admission tickets for the ASCS “Sooner Sweep” at Outlaw Motor Speedway are available for $15 with Senior Citizens and Military admitted for $8.  Children ages 6-12 are admitted for $5 with children five and under free.  Pit passes are available for $30.

Outlaw Motor Speedway is located southwest of Muskogee, OK, on U.S. 69 to the Wainwright exit, then 0.1 miles west.  It is approximately 12 miles north of the I-40 and U.S. 69 interchange.
