HARTFORD, Mich. — (July 29, 2016) — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event scheduled for Friday night at Hartford Motor Speedway was rained out following completion of the heat race events. The event will be made up on September 21st with an entirely new program.
Before the rain Joey Saldana set a new one lap track record at Hartford with a lap of 15.691 seconds around the half-mile oval. Saldana and David Gravel while Donny Schatz and Jason Sides won the qualifiers using the under 21 car format for the World of Outlaws.
The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series heads around Lake Michigan for Saturday’s event at Wilmot Raceway.
